• Low ground pressure equipment will not disturb desirable vegetation, underlying roots and soil.
• All remains are recycled into mulch, which returns nutrients back into the soil through decomposition.
• Unlike bush hogging, forestry mulchers can clear much larger material and leave a finer mulch behind. All trees and brush are cut flush with the ground, allowing lawn mowers to maintain future growth.
• Mulch material acts as natural erosion control and sedimentation barrier, whereas traditional land clearing requires BMPs (i.e. installation of silt fence).
